Unlike many flying schools and organisations Bristol Flying members enjoy aircraft hire without limits. There are no ‘minimum hours’ requirement, which means, you can hire aircraft for a day, weekend or longer but only pay for the time the aircraft is in use. Not for the time it’s on the ground at a visiting airport.
Flying to the coast, France, or Jersey for the weekend becomes an affordable reality. Booking reservations are made online or via phone and all we ask is that you cancel your booking if you or the weather changes your plans.
Someone once commented “it’s the next best thing to owning your own aircraft” but they were soon corrected by someone who had, – “its better than owning your own aircraft”.

Prices above are per hour and are fully inclusive of fuel and VAT. Rates are subject to flying club membership and Bristol Airport movement charge. Rates mentioned above are based on 3 hours flying and increase if less hours are flown.
Aviators Club & Online Aircraft Booking
Membership will cost you about the same as a decent cup of coffee a day and by the way that’s free to our members and their guests as well. Membership gives you full use of club aircraft at preferential rates when you want to fly and remember you only pay for the time the aircraft is in use – no daily minimum hours requirement. Enjoy full use of club facilities, aviation library, desktop internet access or wireless from your own laptop all free to enjoy whether you’re flying or not.
Members can also book aircraft from the comfort of their own home through our online booking service. No more wasted trips to the airfield, you can plan ahead and take some of the stress out of flying.
Purpose & Style
Enjoy the camaraderie of other pilots and aircraft owners in the lounge or at our regular pub nights and other social events. With regular fly outs home and overseas and advanced training on offer, enjoy flying with purpose and style.
Members Shared Flying
Bristol Flying is born to keep the cost of flying as economical as possible. We introduce our new self fly hire members, to our larger membership, so they can share their flying and of course the cost.
